The Flannery Clan has built up a large database of historical and genealogical information relating to individuals named Flannery / Flannelly (and variants) for the purpose of safeguarding our common heritage and assisting members who wish to trace their roots. The majority of this information relates to individuals who are no longer living. In accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations which came into effect on 25/05/2018, the Flannery Clan has appointed Dr. Lorcán J. O'Flannery as Data Protection Officer (DPO) to manage all aspects of data protection pertaining to the online database and hardcopy database. The DPO may be contacted by email to email@example.com.
It is the understanding of the Flannery Clan that all individuals who forward information for inclusion in the online database and/or hardcopy database of the Flannery Clan do so on the clear understanding that the information will be held by the Flannery Clan, and used to further the stated purpose of safeguarding our common heritage and assisting members who wish to trace their roots. The Flannery Clan undertakes to use the information for no other purpose.
The online database is stored at www.flanneryclan.ie. By its nature, the online database may be accessed by all members of the general public. All requests to edit personal information in the online database should be directed to the DPO by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
